Hall is proud to have been COR certified since 2015, and we have no intention of capping our safety culture there. Safety is in Hall's DNA and is a major part of how we operate everyday. We never settle and will always continue to improve how we maintain our workplace health and safety program. Our program is based on not only the WorkSafe Regulation but BCCSA's best industry practice and standards. We empower our staff with the right tools and communication processes to keep us honest and accountable.

Together We Put Safety First

Hall carries out the following processes to ensure effective management of the health and safety of each project. We conduct training, daily toolbox meetings, and Safe Job Procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (OHSR) and that contracted work meets expectations.

Project Safety Planning

Hall develops and implements site-specific Project Safety Plans (PSP) to ensure project team safety, as well as compliance with OHSMS (Occupational Health and Safety Management Program) and contract requirements. Our Project Safety Planning includes, but is not limited to, the following elements:

Roles and Responsibilities
Safety orientations
Safe Job Procedures & Safe Work Practices
Pre-Job Risk Assessment
Emergency Response Plan
Incident reporting requirements
Routine frequencies of safety inspections
Regular administrative requirements and other activities

Hall's PSP functions as a checklist to ensure that safety procedures and policies are in place and followed by our own and our subcontractors' work crews.
